Wales narrowly missed out on retaining the RBS 6 Nations in their final match of the 2009 Championships against Ireland. They finished the championships in fourth position which will have been disappointing by their standards. Wales were victorious 23 points to 15 at the millennium stadium in February 2009 and England will be determined to reverse this result in the return fixture at Twickenham in 2010.
